i havent had my eyes checked sinse i was 5 im 16 now and having problems with floaters!.!.!.would americas best be a good place to have them checkedWww@Answer-Health@Com

At 16 and already having problems with floaters is no joke!. It may herald some disease in the back part of the eye that is best handled by an Ophthalmologist, a medical doctor specializing in diseases of the eye!. Go see an Ophthalmologist, more specifically a subspecialist called Vitreoretinal Specialist!.

There is nothing that can be done about floaters!. After long enough your brain will adjust to them and you won't really notice them too much anymore!. If you are having dark spots in your vision, you should see an ophthalmologist and not an optometrist at a retail store!. They would be able to give you a thorough exam and also ensure that the spots in your vision are just floaters, and not something more serious!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
Just because a doctor works at a retail store does not mean that they are not qualified to do all exams!. In fact I have had better experiences with doctors in retail stores then I have had out of retail stores!. I recommend you go to a local Wal-Mart vision center!. The reason I recommend them is because Wal-Mart provides them with the most upto date equipment and then lets them just do their job!. Most of them are actually Independant Doctors who just use the Wal-mart facility!. And that is good cause they aren't paid on commission and they aren't worried about paying rent at their office so it's all about your eye care needs!. And because of that they can usually provide a better price of the exam for the same thing that would cost you hundreds at private od!. I hope this helps!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
Dude, Floaters need a detailed exam with experiance!. Those folks don't work at americas best!. Ask them if they are gonna take a retinal photo!.!.!. Would u look for a deal on heart surgery!?!.!. ok!.make ur choice!.!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
