New glasses..color distortion/curving?!
Question: New glasses!.!.color distortion/curving!?
I just picked up a new pair of glasses today and I'm already having a few problems!. I'm totally aware of an "adjustment" period for new glasses, but I'm not sure if this is typical!.!.So, if not looking ABSOLUTELY straight on, the top/bottom of my glasses produce a yellow tint/outline on objects, especially on things that light up (lamp, computer screen, tv, etc!.) Peripherally, the left and right sides cause a blue and red outline on objects!. I'm also having strong curving on objects both close and far away, looking straight and looking peripherally -- I'm willing to wait out the curving and see if I adjust to it, but the color thing is really weird!. Is this normal on glasses, or should I go back to the eye doctor!? I have astigmatism in both eyes, but I'm not sure if the lenses correct it/are for astigmatism, aside from the prescription numbers!.

Your prescription shows significant myopia and astigmatism in both eyes!. The lenses used to correct this much myopia are quite thick at the periphery and can cause all sorts of peripheral distortions (color and curve etc!.)!.
Solution:
1!. Go back to the doctor and get the number and axis rechecked!.
2!. If you chose very small-sized lenses from cosmetic point of view, I would say it was a mistake!. Pick a pair of glasses with big lenses!.
3!. If this does not help, try contact lenses!.
4!. You always have the option of getting an evaluation for LASIK!. Www@Answer-Health@Com
