How are peanuts good for your eyes?!

Question: How are peanuts good for your eyes!?
I would like a quite informative and maybe scientific answer since I do know quite a bit about biology myself and an enthusiast about everything to do witht eh human body!.

I heard somewhere that nuts are good for your eyes!.!.!. I find this somewhat puzzling to figure out despite the protein amounts!.

I eat quite a lot of nuts and cashews just simply because I like the taste and if rodents can live off them, why not me!? (obviously with the addition of more supplemental things such as meat and vegetables and what not)

So, anyone got an answer to this!? :)

Thanks in advance!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Answers:
Peanuts are no better or worse for your eyes than other foods!.

The same diet that is good for your general health is good for the eyes!. Eat a balanced diet with 8-10 servings of fruit and veggies daily, 2 servings of protein, 4-5 servings of carbs, 3-4 servings of dairy, minimal animal fat and not too much sugar!.

You are not a rodent!. Humans and rodents have different digestive systems and nutritional needs!. If you do not eat animal products, be sure to supplement your diet with calcium and Vit B12!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

actually it's not that you're supposed to eat them!. you are supposed to tie 2 of them together with pieces of string and put them in front of your eyes on very sunny days and that protects you from sun dammage to your eyes!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Some peanuts have resveratrol!. Resveratrol works better against heart disease than any of the pharmaceutical drugs on the market!.

You can also find resveratrol in blueberries and wine!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I've never gotten a peanut stuck in my eye, but I would imagine it's not very good for the eye!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
