Anybody who has had laser eye surgery or whom knows somebody who has-----?!

Question: Anybody who has had laser eye surgery or whom knows somebody who has-----!?
I had wavefront lasik laser eye surgery on Friday and the opticians say that my eyes are healing well with no infections and so on!
I just want some advice as to whether or not the corneal flap ever actually heals properly!? Also I have been told that after a week I can start wearing eye makeup and not wearing the protective goggles to sleep in, is this advisable!? What experiences or advice do you have on the matter!? What did you find useful and so on!? Thanks in advance xoWww@Answer-Health@Com

Answers:
The corneal flap only heals around the edges!. Underneath the surface, the cut is there forever!. Your doctor should have told you this!. But this is perfectly okay; the only long term effect you will have from that is that once in a while, if you happen to sleep with the pillow pressing against your eye in a certain way, you might wake up with blurry vision for a minute or two!. (However, your corneas are no longer suitable for organ donation!.)

The advice about not needing the goggles after a week is correct!. I can't advise you about eye makeup, having had no personal experience with that!. Keep using your eyedrops on the recommended schedule!.

You will notice that point light sources at night, such as traffic lights, will have halos for a while; this will gradually diminish over the coming months!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
