Question: Do I have Pink Eye and How Long Will it Stay!?
Right now I have a really bad cold and possibly strep throat!. Last night I noticed my left eye was red in the inner corner!. I thought that maybe my contacts were the problem so I took them out and went to sleep!. This morning it was worse!. Not only was my eye still red but it is also a little painful when I blink!. I'm going to the doctors tomorrow but I'm wondering if I have some kind of eye infection and if so how did I get it and how long will it take to go away!? The last time I was really sick with the flu, I ended up with pink eye because I'd blow my nose or cough and then not think about it and rub my eyes, spreading the cold into my eyes!. If you do have pink eye, you need prescription drops to clear it up; it won't go away on its own!. Once you have the drops, it takes about a week to noticeably clear up and another week to be fully gone!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
pink eye is usually very itchy!. You sound like you have a blocked tear duct!. Since you're going to the doctor anyway, for sure get him to look at it!. But they'll probably just tell you to put warm compresses on it for a few days!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
