If I have an eye appointment at Lenscrafters, can I take the prescription somewhere else, like Hakim Optical, and purhase the glasses there!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

yes, you can take your Rx anywhere you want!. It's just like taking a drug prescription to a different drug store!. You will have to pay for the Optometrist's eye exam and then they will had you the Rx and you can take it anywhere you want!. It is only good for one year from the date of the exam, however!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
yes, all optometrists should give out the prescription to the patient!.
Legally, the original script belongs to the patient, the optometrist can only keep a copy of it!.

If they give you a copy of your prescription, you can take it anywhere glasses and frames are made!. Caution though; some places will NOT give out the prescription because they want you to purchase glasses from their store!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
you can take your Rx whereever they sell frames to get your glasses, make sure ahead of time that they take your insurance!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
