The bony orbit or socket of the eye is surrounded by air and vascularly filled sinuses!. A sinusitis (inflammation of the sinuses) can cause sensitivity to the sinuses and the pressure of the beating of the heart can cause a throbbing sensation which feels like it is in the eye!. Go in and have it looked at!. You might just have a sinus infection!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
