Are my eyes normal or what?!

Question: Are my eyes normal or what?
I always thought my eyes were normal but one of my friends thought otherwise. I sort of see things in double, but only when I'm not focusing on them. For example, if I raise my finger and focus on it, I only see one but I kinda see the background in double. And if I focus on the background, I see my finger twice but I can sort of see through them. It's kinda hard to explain. I've always been like that, I think. Is that a problem, and is there a name for it?

Your eyes are very normal in fact if it didn't do that it would be weird, every humans vision needs to cross over to determine the distance of the object they're looking at (Its sort of like relative velocity, which an object seems to have a velocity from the observer who is supposedly moving).
This is because your sight crosses each other forcing your brain to comprehend whether there are two objects or one.

That's normal. Don't worry about it. Your friend just probably thought of it wrong. I have the same thing and so do other people. When you focus on a certain thing, the background becomes weird.

Yep, there is a name for it...it's called..."normal "

The same thing happens to everyone.
