If you find reading a bit blurry, get corrective glasses. Even if you think you have a problem with just your left eye, I suggest you still get glasses because it will be strenuous to your other eye as well.
Most people usually do not have the same power of glasses for both eyes. There will always be a minute difference.
If you find objects farther away to be blurry, it is called hypermetropia (easily corrected by glasses or contacts)
If you find nearer objects or text blurry, then you have Myopia (again, easily corrected by glasses).
Some people have both, and that is normal too.
Just to comment on the previous answer... myopia is having difficulty seeing far objects or near sightedness, while hyperopia is farsightedness or the ability to see clearly from far away.
If you are having difficulty seeing close objects then you may have hyperopia.
you may need glasses, as vision does tend to decrease a little during that age. One eye can be weaker than the other. My left eye is worse than my right eye.
"I have never been to the opticians as I have not had problems"
This is an interesting statement, given that it seems that you're having problems.
Yes, it sounds like you may need glasses, but having your eyes examined is the only way to be sure.
