Extremely Large Pupils?!

Question: Extremely Large Pupils?
I have the biggest pupils. I do not do drugs. I get asked that a lot though. Why do I have such big pupils and what could be the cause, my parents don't have big pupils....Thanks!

Answers:

If u r myopic, then it may mean something serious like glaucoma. Meh i wouldn't even worry about it your probably fine. but if u get exposed to high/bright light do they become smaller? if not then you should be concerned.

My pupils are very large too, even though I don't need any correction and have very good vision. As long as your pupils are equal from left to right and both constrict to light equally, you are ok. However, be sure you wear good protective sunwear, like polarized sunglasses, when you go outdoors. Since your pupils are large, they let in more light through the lens and back of the eye. High exposure to UV can cause/worsen age related problems later in your life, like cataracts and ARMD. Do you have light colored eyes? I've seen more people with light eyes and large pupils than with dark eyes, but I don't know the reason/relationship with that.

Maybe it's genetic, if your parents don't have it maybe another blood relative, or you live in extremely dark place? Haha I would go to the optician if you're that curious but im sure it's nothing big lol :)

Have your eyes tested, are you short sighted?

Edit: My ex is the same when she doesn't have her contact lenses in, she's seriously short sighted too.

Your pupil expands when you see something pleasing...you should stop looking at stuff that pleases you.
