No soda is FINE, I have gotten mouth wash in my eye before and it burns like hell lol:D
But no soda is fine if it burn or anything just use wash it out!
No you won't go blind. It'll probably hurt like anything you splash in your eyes but your eyes will use tears to cry it out naturally. Even if you get something really dangerous in your eyes ( like a lot of products used to clean in kitchens ) you're unlikely to go blind if you get medical treatment. If you get something in your eye then check the label on the bottle. If it is dangerous for your eyes it will say so and advise you to get immediate medical treatment.
blind its too much sayd....maybe you will have some problems with your eyes-but not blindness.....
