Contacts-Wrong prescription or do should I try a different kind?!

Question: Contacts-Wrong prescription or do should I try a different kind?
I went to the eye doctor this past Tuesday. He offered to give me a trial pair of contacts (I usually wear glasses, but I've worn contacts before) but they just don't seem to be working out. My eyes can't really focus that well while I'm wearing them and at times one eye get blurry while the other is fine. I wonder if it's the contacts or the prescription? Should I go back for another exam? The contacts I had before were very expensive, because the eye doctor I have previously said I needed a certain kind for my eyes. This doctor said that wasn't so and gave me a much cheaper brand, but they aren't as comfortable, but again, I'm not sure if it's the contacts or prescription. What should I do?

It could be one or the other. Go back to the Dr. and let THEM figure it out. That is what they are trained for, and what you are paying them for.

They gave you trial lenses, which is what trial lenses are for....to see how they will work for you. You obviously have to go back with them , and they will try something else.
