Question: Vision improved on right eye?
I wear glasses and last week had a simple eye test that revealed my prescription on my right eye decreased, it was originally -4.50 and now it is -2.50, my godfather who performed this test said it was not normal and advised me to go to the doctor but my appt is not until for another week and this has gotten me worried. I am still wearing my glasses that corrects my -4.50 vision and i dont seem to have a problem except when i use the computer and i seem to always think my computer screen is too bright. eye prescriptions usually go up meaning vision usually gets worse but in my case it's the opposite. any suggestions?

To go from - 4.50 to - 2.50 is rather strange for sure, especially that you see fine with - 4.50...
Is your godfather an optometrist ??
There is nothing to worry about anyway...you still see well with your glasses , so there is nothing that can be very wrong, except the diagnosis of - 2.50
Your visit to the Optometrist next week will tell all.
