Should I get glasses?!

Question: Should I get glasses?
I've asked about me having dyplopia and people hav told me I probably have slight astigmatism. But I can see. I can read STOP on a stop sign probly 75 meters from me (from my window in my house). I'm positive I have diplopia because I see double vertically, but only sometimes. My question is:
1. Do I need glasses?
2. Do I have astigmatism or diplopia?
3. Do I need glasses if I can see well, just half the time I have double vision? (mostly when I'm texting, on my iPod, or watching tv. It does happen occasionally during school)
Thanks :D

You are a school-going. Bifocal glasses are for the people above 40 years. You are not in need of a bifocal glass. But you may need an unifocal glass if you have any refractive error. If one eye deviates from it's axis, deplopia arises. This condition may occur from refractive error or imbalance of six ocular muscles. Your STOP reading does not proves that you have normal vision. You must go to an optometrist.
Best of luck.

You really need your eyes tested to be sure. With astigmatism , particularly if it is slight you can often see some things and not others. Depends how far away/clear the text is and also on teh fonts. With road signs its often easier as even if you see a blur your brain can intepret it into a sign. i find the same identifying people without glasses /contacts. They are just a blur but people i knwo well have a distinctive blur!

It could be any of those or none of those. Your best bet is to go see an optometrist (eye doctor) and have your eye sight tested. My eyes go blurring when I try to read the text on my phone, ipod or just anything in general up close. But that doesn't mean I have an astigmatism, etc. What I need is bifocals and that came straight from the eye doctor.

You're eye doctor will be the one to diagnose your eye problems and can better help you.

Good luck!

The only way you will ever know if you go to a option

me, i have glasses to
