How come when I wear my glasses?!

Question: How come when I wear my glasses?
I get these weird headaches? For example, I want to look at some tv. Sometimes I want to use my glasses. Sometimes I get these headaches after wearing them for a very short amount of time. And some other times they dont give me headaches. I can see perfect with them but is there a possibility they could have gave me the wrong prescription?

I dont really know at this point because I can see perfect with them but at the same time sometimes it gives me headaches and my eyes hurt sometimes. I am a bit confused.

And one more question. After you wear your glasses. Your eyes get a bit blurry after you take them off. And it takes time for your vision to go back to normal. Is this true?

It is possible for an optician to get a perscription wrong. I have had it happen. Also some opticians are very much better at gettign a good perscription than others, particularly if you have a complex one. One of the things that can give you headaches if you wear glasses is the weight of them. This used to be a regular problem but these days frames and lenses can be made a lot lighter. Fit of frame is critical as well. I'd be inclined to look at the fit and weight of my glasses. Bad sinuses could be a problem as well , glasses which pinch a little make matters a lot worse if your sinuses are blocked.

It is normal for your vision to go back to normal after you take glasses off. Having read explanations by some of the opticians this is a matter of accomodation which is abuot your muscles relaxing. I won't attempt to repeat teh explanations I've read. Perhaps you can search for it on answers if one of them doesn't repeat it here.
