No that is fine. In fact you could probably wear for a couple of hours longer each day and you could wear at teh weekends if you wanted to.
The danger signs of overwear are red eyes when you take the lenses out. Your eyes need a bit of a break every day so they get some more oxygen but modern lenses allow more oxygen through and it acceptable to wear every day. Opticians vary on how long for but 12 to 14 hours seems standard and some say higher. Just make sure you keep having checkups. They will pick up any early signs of overwear.
most people wear contact lenses all day. Never fall asleep wearing them though. If you buy the single use ones, discard them after a day of using, but there are ones that last a month or three. You have to keep them in a special solution as soon as you take them off and wash them thoroughly. This way they will serve you longer. Also, if your eyeball starts itching or is red give your eyes a rest.
If your eyes aren't red, sore or dry, you're just fine.
I wear mine 13-16 a day or more, and I've gone years where I absolutely wore them daily, not my glasses.
