Question: Anyone had Laser eye surgery?
Im considering having laser eye surgery and have been told that best option is to have the Advanced CustomVue Wavefront surgery (Lasik). I just wanted to know if theres anyone whose had it and what were the advantages and disadvantages (if any) .

plenty of people have had it. its all over the net. i had it in 2007.
advantages: no glasses/contacts wear until your 40's (when you will be presbyopic & need reading glasses)
disadvantages: doesn't always work (3-4% failure rate...still need glasses), can cause dryness, halos, etc etc
