What happens to your eyes when you get blind?!


Question: What happens to your eyes when you get blind?
hahah okkayy sooo i need help lol..... i heard tht when u get blind your eyes get a color of lite gray or lite blue and u have to wear sunglasses to stop the rays of the sun to hit your eye....... but i also heard other stufff........ can u help me? hahah i need to noooo!! lol me and my friend are having ann argument on what happens to an eye when it gets blind....( its for PrettyLittle Liars.. if any of u have seen the show... amazing huh? anyywaysss) and i pretty much cant find the answer on google.... which sucks :p hahaha helpppp???? loveee yaalll :)

There isn't an answer!

Blindness takes so many forms! The condition of the eye in "blindness" will depend on the cause of the sight problem. Most eyes will look perfectly normal - the lack of vision can be caused by something in the optic nerve, the brain or the back layers of the eye.

If its been caused by radiation, cataracts, albinism or some other conditions then they eye will look different but there isn't any way to describe in a general fashion what it would be like.

Also - some eyes which LOOK unusual will be, as far as vision is concerned, functioning normally.
