multifocal eyeglasses?!

Question: Multifocal eyeglasses?
I use bifocal eyeglasses, Is it necessary that my eye sight should be checked again if I want to switch to multifocal or can the multifocal be made from my previous eye refraction test? thanks

The same prescription can be used. But, if it has been more than a year , it would be worth getting another exam first before investing in the more expensive lenses.

Same rx can be used. You can try to get new lenses for a good price at www.replacementlensexpress.com. Just shoot them an e-mail (info@replacementlensexpress.com) and see what they suggest based on your rx. They will put the new lenses into your old frames, which is good for saving $$.

Yes you definitely should get another eye exam!

It would suck if you spent all that money on new glasses and they don't work for you. You may even want to check out 39DollarGlasses.com when you have your eyes rechecked. I wear trifocals lenses and they did an excellent job on my glasses!

I hope this helps!
