My eye power is -7.0 (left) and -5.5 (right) . I am 19.what should I do ? Will I!

Question: My eye power is -7.0 (left) and -5.5 (right) . I am 19.what should I do ? Will I be Blind later?
My power at age 10 was -3.5 in both left and right eye.in the left eye the power -5.5 has increased only by -0.5 in past 4 years.however in past 4 years power in my right eye has increased by-2.0.

now a terrible feeling haunts me,whether I would be blind later.

however,I do not have any of those black spots or raindrop-like patterns which the doctors say are worth immediate atttention.

I'm 16, my left eye is -8.00 and right is about -6.00, mine's pretty bad..

No one goes blind from having a high prescription. As long as your eyes are healthy and you see well with your glasses, blindness is nothing to worry about.

Your vision should be stabilizing to some extent within a couple of years.

Just keep up yearly exams because you do have a higher risk of retinal problems happening with high myopia , although more so after - 8.00

HEY MAN FIRST OF ALL JUST THINK POSITIVE. DONT FEEL THAT YOU ARE GOING TO BE BLIND. IF YOU WORK ON PC THEN PLEASE REDUCE IT AND TAKE A PROPER RICH PROTEIN A DIET AND AVOID EYES FROM DIRT AND UNCLEAN WATER. KEEP HOPE AND YOU WILL COME OUT OF THE PROBLEM. I HOPE IT WILL HELP YOU

Nah. I'm -6.0 on each. It seemed to stop changing when I was 20, has actually even improved as I've gotten older (was -6.5).

I'm a -12.00. Want to trade?
