do strobe lights cause light sensitivity?!

Question: Do strobe lights cause light sensitivity?
In October, I was a part of this halloween thing for my school, and i was in a dark room with a bright strobe light for about 2 hours. after a while it started to hurt my eyes, and when i left, i had the worst headache i ever had in my life. that was a saturday, and the next monday at school, i completely forgot what rooms my classes were in. it was weird, almost like the strobe light altered my memory. since then, my eyes have been sensitive to bright lights. when im in the car at night, i have to wear sunglasses because the headlights and street lights hurt my eyes, but that has never happened before. when it's sunny out and im sitting near a window, i get a pretty bad headache because of the brightness, which happened to me in school today.
do you think the strobe light caused this? or is it just a coincidence?

It could have caused a seizure that resulted in some damage...but I don't think it would have done direct damage to your eyes.

However, you should still go see a doctor for this, it sounds like you are having migraines and they can give you pills to help reduce the pain. It may or may or may not be related to the strobelight...Because you're relating it to the strobe I would also get checked for epilepsy if I were you.
