If you have contacts, you could wear regular swimming goggles over them. If not, swimming goggles are available pre-fitted with lenses in various strengths. One of the available strengths should be close enough to work for you. Don't worry if they aren't exactly your prescription, it won't make your vision get worse.

If you are specifically trying to NOT have to do the swimming lessons, I suppose a note from the optician might help, no guarantees. However, I'm sure they will substitute some other equally umpleasant activity for the swimming lessons.

Can't really see how that would stop you swimming, but anyway one can easily obtain corrective swimming goggles these days.

Otherwise yes you could use that as an excuse.

My friend used to do swimming without her glasses but she could see alright.I suggest if you can't see without them on then you use some kind of note or something.
