Question: Someone please answer my question about my eyes...?
i was born with a pupil that didn't developed properly. It is kinda like a shape of a key hold and it's not in the middle, it is on the bottom line of my Iris (my eye didn't fully form so it's has a jelly substance of stuff just floating around). The upper part of my eye is blind and the rest is just a big blur that i can't make out what finger your'e holding up in my face, That i can't make out my fingers when im typing on my laptop, it's that bad. Now my right eye....i can see but im near sighted and i can't see the street sign that clear unless im just about under neath the sign. Let just say, the bottom line of the SNELLEN chart is blurry....sooo, Am im consider legally blind???....SORRY TO SAY BUT WHAT DOES "IN YOUR BETTER EYE" means??...
also my eye doctor says that glasses won't help nor contact lenses....eye surgery won't help JUST NOTHING. I wore glasses when i was little and stop at the age 10. So, there's nothing that can help my left eye from seeing again. But my right eye can come correct with glasses. THANK YOU..

If you can see at least the next to last line with your glasses you are not legally blind, "your better eye" is your right, your condition is called COLOBOMA, it's a development abnormality, your eye didn't develope normally, and as you describe your pupil, your retina has probably the same shape and that is why your vision is not good, unfortunatelly your doctors are right there is no surgery, glasses or medication to make you better
