If he is an identical twin, he might actually have the same or very close, prescription, diameter, base curve, etc, so it might, in theory work, but you can't be positive. Also, he hasn't been shown how to insert, remove, clean & take care of them, etc. I'm not saying that something disasterous will definitely happen if you do it, but there is a certain degree of risk.
Maybe what would be better would be if he could borrow your glasses for a few days which would be less likely to cause problems. (If you wear contacts, presumably you also have some glasses for "emergency use" right)?
I would say no, even though you have similar prescriptions your eyes are different, different shape, curve etc. Yr script wont be exactly the same, and yr lenses wont fit him 100% properly, he wont see the same as you, as his prescription will be slightly different, plus there is the infection risk, I would say no. He needs to see yr optometrist to fix his glasses or order some new lenses. I wouldnt do it, you cant rely that he will see well.
