Blurry vision at distance?!

Question: Blurry vision at distance?
Hello, I'm 15 and recently I've been experiencing trouble with my vision at distance. Last week I tried on for fun some glasses from a classmate and everything seamed clearer at distance than before. That's when I started worrying for my vision. I noticed that I could no longer see clearly words at a distance of 50 feet [+/-10] or handwritten words on the posters in my class which are in the back of the class and I sit in the front row. Also when I told my mother she said I could be imagining things but then I asked her to read a sign from our apartment because I couldn't[which she read with no problems] and she said we'll be going for a check up when she comes home from visiting grandma [who can't see anymore... well she can, but every thing's dark for her. that's why I worry too much]. Now I don't know if she tried not to alarm me, but I want to know. If I get to wear glasses, will it be permanent? And also with contact lenses, am I supposed to change them every month? Because I'd rather wear lenses than glasses.
And I once was supposed to wear glasses, when I was in 3rd grade because I had headaches and I was always leaning really close to my notebook when I was doing my homework. I only wore those occasionally for about 2-3 weeks, because after that I had no longer problems.
Maybe this is nothing and I'm really imagining things, but I do tend to worry a lot and I don't like things to be wrong with me. Especially since, right now, for me as a teenager every little thing matters.

Having your eyes examined will tell you whether you need glasses or not.

If you do need correction for your eyes and you get contacts, you'll want to get a pair of backup glasses in case you can't wear your contacts for whatever reason (eye infections for example), or if you want to change up your look by switching from the contacts to the glasses.

It may not be a permanent change. Your eyesight tends to stabilize around your 20's.

it DEPENDS whether your glasses will be permanent or correctional your eye doctor will say that. clear contact lenses is good for 6 months - 1 year depending on your care.

I suggest wearing contact lenses it's so easy to put and remove.

GLASSES AND CONTACT LENS user.

Most people have bad eyesight because of incorrect posture

If you want to wear glasses thats fine. But in case you want to just correct your posture plesae look up 'good posture' or 'improve posture' in google or youtube. There are like 100s of videos so if you have time watch a few and pick up one you like. Being a girl you may prefer advice from a female instructor. The posture videos for women tend to focus on the hips and abs alot.

If you read alot or use a pc its very easy to develop bad posture. Forward head posture is a problem becoming more common in people these days. Symptoms of it are shoulder blades being drawn apart, forward rolling of the shoulders, neck leaning forward and the persons face either looking at the ground or ****** back. This is all unnatural and causes a massive strain on the a/o joint which is the joint liking the neck to the skull.

If you want to learn about this and make corrections then i recommend the following videos. They use technical language sometimes but the important points are explained quite simply. For the first and second videos just locate the sternum (little boney bump) on your chest and raise that a bit, tuck your chin in so that the head isn't stuck out as forward as much and this should help relax you. It will also make your eyesight clearer and the back of your neck straight again.

In the third video you will see clips of a skeleton moving its head. Just pay attention to it and try to mimick these movements (notice that the neck doesn't move but the skull does.)
