Question: How can I reduce eye-redness?
So I've had difficulty with eye-redness since Thursday. What is the quickest way to get rid of eye redness. It's not pink eye because it's not leaking stuff and it's not just gross puss. My eye is just bloodshot and slightly smaller than the other eye. I am not wearing my contacts. Today is the second day I am wearing my glasses instead. I am trying visine red eye reducing drops but they aren't doing much. I know a cool compress will work pretty fast, but I don't have any antibiotic drops I don't think. My dad gave me some perscription drops he used. So can somebody help? Thanks!

If you're having lid swelling (if that is what you mean by smaller eye) you may have a lid infection and will need to see an eye doctor. There are no over the counter remedies, at least in the US, that will fix that. You are doing right by not wearing your contacts. But I would still go and get it looked at. It's been 4 days and you're still red. The "smaller eye" thing is more concerning to me than the redness.
