Changing eye color at will?!

Question: Changing eye color at will?
My husband's eyes change color (from blue to green to gray) from time to time. I know this is because of different levels of melanin or the density of melanin in parts of his iris. I think it has something to do with the colors that he is wearing or the environment he's in but I have also seen them change -- very dramatically -- from one color to the next in less than 20 seconds and that was because of his mood, I think.

Is there a way for him to make his eyes change color at will (other than by external means like changing clothes)?

Just wondering.

Answers:

You know I actually have the exact same thing. I say they're blue but sometimes people say they're green. What I heard somewhere is that they're always the same color but it depends a little on the light, what I'm wearing etc. and sometimes they look more green. If you look at eyes really close, there's more than one color there or at least shades of different colors and I guess one or the other just stands out more at times.

I have similar eye color as does my dad. The color is hazel and with certain clothing, agitation to my eyes etc. my eyes can look green or blue. My dad's often look green or brownish. I do not thing that moods etc. change the color, I believe just certain pigments stand out. I also found this....

My brother and I have the gold band as well-IDK, just part of the eye color.

the clothing you can wear makes the diffrent colors in your eyes stand out if you were a blue shirt and you have blue/green eyes they will look more blue i have yet to figure out my eye color becuase people never agree also it could be when he gets mad his face may get read which makes his eyes look a diffrent color

i was studying this and my teacher said its not possible for eye colour to change. she said that the clothing or lighting can make it look different.
