Why did my blue eyes become gray?!

Question: Why did my blue eyes become gray?
When I was a baby until elementary school, my eyes were vividly blue. I'm now 19 and my eyes are gray. Depending on what I'm wearing, sometimes they look blue and sometimes they look green. But, for the most part they are gray. I've been told this can be due to malnutrition. I have had an eating disorder since I was a kid, but I'm doing much better with that now. Does it have something to do with getting older, eating habits, genetics (my mother had blue eyes and my father has green), or something else all together? I do have a chronic autoimmune disease that affects my bones, muscles, nerves, etc. But it revolves more around pain. Is changing eye colors normal with light eyes or not so much? Thank you.

PS. I'm not worried, more just curious.

I have vivid blue eyes as a child and red hair. I still have the red hair, but my eyes changed to a grayish blue and look green when I wear green. I think it is normal.

It does that, i dont know why but it just does. i know some babies blue with blonde hair grew up to have gray eyes and brown hair.

Its normal mine were vividly blue and its gray now but its still a cool colour, its probably environment or something with upbringing. Nothing abnormal

Actually, lots of babies are born with blue eyes that later change to a darker color. It's just one of those things. The same often happens with blond hair.
