What are the symptoms of being pregnant?!

Question: What are some of the symptoms of being pregnant? I have had a irregular period [spotting] , nausea, tired and feeling emotional like my period is always starting. I have been sick to my stomach for a good week now and it is hard to eat or smell certain foods which is very, very unlike me. My husband thinks I might be pregnant. It usually does not show up right away right?
I had a sinus, throat infection and bronchitis a few weeks ago but usually that is gone by this time.
My period is irregular on a normal basis.
I will get a test but can't make it to the store till late today or tomorrow.

Thank you and Merry Christmas!

You do have a lot of the "classic" signs of pregnancy, but since you have been ill I suppose they could be related to your previous illness.
Everybody shows the signs of pregnancy differently and at different stages. Some women are affected right away and some women aren't.
I would definitely get a home pregnancy test.
Congrats if you are pregnant! :)

If you still have your periods that means that you are not pregnant

it does sound like a pregnancy, if its what you both want congratulations, if its the start of a virus ughh!!

Test in drug store will show if you at least 6 weeks. Blood test shows right away, so go see the GYN.

Get a test as soon as you can. It sounds to me like you are pregnant. Especially if you are tired, moody, and nauseous. I would get the ept test that detects pregnancy sooner. Get 2 they are not always accurate, remember that you can get a false negative but NEVER a false positive. Don't forget to make an appointment with your OB! Good luck!

There are many women who experience spotting in the first few months of pregnancy. Because you had an illness recently, that could account for some of your symptoms, but they do closely mirror pregnancy symptoms as well. Most women feel very fatigued and some have nausea due to the rapidly changing hormone levels when you are pregnant. Being more sensitive to smells is also a commonly reported phenomenon. Many women feel increased tenderness in the breast, increased urination and emotions right on the surface. Having said that, I think most of these symptoms show up a bit later on. I think it unusual to experience them when your period is only a few days late and especially if you are normally rather irregular. Remember that a test can show a negative result even if you are pregnant, but a positive test is accurate. Sounds like you would like to be pregnant so even if the first test is negative, take all the precautions you would if you were positively pregnant and take another test after 3 or 4 days just to make sure. The label on the test kit will inform you of how long after missing your period the test is likely to be accurate. Take vitamins and folic acid and good luck!!

YOUR BREASTS WILL GET LONGER, LIKE JJ CUP
