How can taking a bath during your period make it heavier?!

Question: Sometimes warm water or heat (can be a bath, shower, heating pad etc.) speeds up the flow of blood and it will be heavier for a little while after the exposure to the heat..

Answers: Sometimes warm water or heat (can be a bath, shower, heating pad etc.) speeds up the flow of blood and it will be heavier for a little while after the exposure to the heat..

It doesn't.

im not sure if this answer is entirely correct but i think because the water is stopping the period, when you get out it can finally start flowing again.

No. The water could dilute the flow and make it seem heavier for a little while.

The warm water can relax your uterus which in turn relaxes the veins that supply the area causing more blood to flow from the uterus.

doesn't make it heavier, your just not suppose to take a bath while on your period. Thats why we have what is called a shower. If your leaking out blood most likely its going to go in your bath water.

I would think not. Personally, I wouldn't take a bath while on my period.

It always made it lighter for me. But I guess the warm water could relax the uterus and cause more flow.
