Definitely a yeast infection. I get them all the time, especially when I take antibiotics. Certain antibiotics cause your body to produce more yeast. Here's what you need to do...take an over the counter yeast infection treatment like Monistat. You can do the 3 or 7 day treatment. They also sell creams for the itching. Eat lots of yogurt and you can actually even put yogurt where it itches. Trust me, I've done it and it works. Drink lots of water. And wear cotton panties and loose fitting clothes until it's gone. Also avoid scented soaps, toilet paper and tampons/pads while you have it because it can make the itching even worse!! I hope this helps!

sounds like a yeast infection.... they sell stuff over the counter to help cure it.

yeast infection-start a 7day monistat treatment and use it all...eat some yogurt too.

you may have a yeast infection you need to go to the doctors so that you can be prescribed a proper cream or antibiotic to get rid of it

prb a yeast infection you can buy over the counter medications for this at walmart and drug stores
if it does not work see a doctor
also eat more yogart

yea i had that 2..it is a yeast infection i had to use the cream and it came with a pill for me it took about 3 days to heal...good luck.

Antibiotics are infamous for causing yeast infections. I would get some monistat and vinegar douches to kick it in. Douche and then use monistat at bedtime. In the morning douche again. Repeat. I never recommend douching as it's not usually good for you. However you are deep in the yeast and the douche will help you get better. Now that you know the symptoms, you can catch that you have it quicker and it won't get so bad.

Hey, it sounds like a yeast infection.

It was probably the anitbiotics that set it off.

I had the exact symptoms you have, I told me mum (I'm 13) and she called the NHS and they told me it was a yeast infection, so what I did I went down to the chemist and they gave me Canesten.

It is VERY good, cleared up in 4 days and the itching and redness stopped.

I got mine on prescription but I'm sure you can get it over the counter.

Hope I helped and remember, if your worried about anything else go to your doctor.

The reason for the yeast infection, I think it is that too, is the antibiotic you took. It kills off your friendly bacteria along with the bad ones and your internal flora are out of balance so the yeast, which is also natural has a population explosion. Eat yogurt daily, the live culture kind any time you are taking antibiotics. My gyn even suggested diluting it and douching with it. Can't hurt, might help. Use the recommended over the counter remedy and be sure you use it all or you will have another recurrance.

Antibiotics will cause a yeast infection. It's best for you to tell your mum because she can get you the stronger medication/cream you'll need to get rid of it.

Also, when you take antibiotics take acidophilus pills along with them so your levels in your body stay consistent and you won't get a build up of yeast therefore causing the yeast infection.

Feel better :-)
