Why do I have a bowel movement @ the same time each day? (sorry to be gross)?!

Question: I'm a teacher, so I eat at 10 a.m. with the students. Within ten minutes, I start feeling gasey and I have to poop. After I go, I feel better. The poop isn't runny and it doesn't hurt coming out. I do still feel a little gasy afterward, but it's not as bad.

Why do I go at the same time? Is it because I've started eating more vegatables? Is there something I can do to make myself not have to go until the evening?

I HATE having to poop at school because I don't have a bathroom in my class, so I have to use the kiddie toilets in the hall.

Wow! 10 a.m. everyday...that's what you call regular! It's a natural thing that indicates you are eating enough fibrous foods.

Since it takes food a predetermined amount of time to pass through your system, maybe you should try eating dinner earlier.

p.s. It's not supposed to be runny or hurt coming out. That would mean you have too much or not enough of something.

Because you have a set schedule. If you didnt eat everyday at 10 you would have to go at 10. You dont have the problem during summer huh?

This is actually a good thing and is a since that your metabolism and body are regular. Although it just is at a bad time for you!

I am like that too. Always at 2:00 P.M.! =) It's just based on your schedule. Try getting drinking some natural fruit juices and eating something like oatmeal before you go to bed. Then get up earlier in the morning and try to poo then. If you can get your schedule pushed earlier, then you won't have to go at school.

Let me start by saying this, you are lucky that you poop regular.

I have had problems since I was 15 and 4 years ago had 3/4 of my colon removed at 34 years of age.

I used to be embarassed to go in public places, but with all the pain and problems that go along with having kids, my colon became elongated. I decided it was enough. I was physically sick because I would go 7 to 10 days without a BM.

The surgery I had was awful. I was in the hospital for 8 days and then ended up with a post op staff infection.

You need to let your body do what it does naturally and if that means you have to go in school, don't change that!

Everyone has to poop sometime, we just need to be understanding of that because it is natural.

Oprah even had a show on this topic. Color, cut and clarity of your poop. It was gross, but very interesting!

Good luck with that.

I don't know why you are going at the same time all the time. I do know that it's healthy. You can always use a laxative to attempt to change your schedule.
peace
