My normal menstrual cycle is around 40 days?? (girls only!!)?!
Question: Help, I'm confused!!! I have had my period for nearly two years now and i am 13 (nearly 14) and my periods are irregular and at long intervals. Like i have my period for 5 days and wait around 40 for the next...... I know its around 36 days max but mine well doesn't follow any pattern so its hard to know when its coming. Is there anything wrong or is it just my body adjusting to Puberty <--- :( lol plz help.

A 40-day cycle is perfectly normal. The "maximum" isn't 36 days - cycles can last anywhere from 21-45 days. If your periods are irregular however, you can visit your doctor who can give you something to help regulate them. But don't worry about this - you're perfectly normal.

probably the changes in your hormones because of your age. your still going through many changes right now. as long as your not having sex and lets hope your not then give it a little time for yuor body to adjust!!!
im 18 and something similar happend to me when i was your age...its just cause your young and yes...adjusting to puberty
I had the same problem when I was your age. Once I got on birth control, my periods started every 28 days and lasted about 4. Ask your mom to take you to the gyno if it bothers you that bad and they can prescribe you birth control.
