HELP! birth control! HELP!?!
Question: I really need help. I have been taking birth control for almost 2 months now. Just recently I discovered on the back of my pill case it says that they expired in DEC 07. I don't know what to do. I really worried that I might be pregnant. I have had unprotected sex recently and im really worried. I'm not taking any other mediations, but I am sick with a cold ( if that affects it any). If I do end up pregnant, can I blame my doctor? Seeing as he was the one who gave me the pills in the first place? Do you think I will get pregnant? I'm so worried.

Pills will lose their effectiveness over time...I'm pretty sure you're not pregnant, its not like one day they're 90% effective then the next 10%!!! So just get a new pack from your doctor, and get it all going again!
it depends what kinda sick vomiting is a symptom being cold sounds like a fever but i would take the pack back to the dr and tell them about it
You sure that date is not just the date for your prescription, and not the expiration date for the pills? If the pharmacy is giving you old pills maybe you should find a new pharmacy.
What exactly is stopping you from
a) using protection when you have sex
b) getting a pregnancy test instead of stressing over it and asking us.
You will be OK.
The expired date is just like an a "estimate" on when they will start to "not be so effective"
but that date will be the earliest possible date. so they will still be good as it has only been a few days since Dec 07.
