Please help..has anyone ever had lump in groin area?!
Question: It happened before about 2 years ago when I wasn't even sexually active in the exact same spot: right there on the left where the crease is where the underwear lays. I remember telling my mom about it and she told me to just wait and c if it went away, and it did. I do shave there as well, but I haven't shaved in about a week so I don't know if it's an ingrown hair or not. It's bigger than the other side but doesn't hurt. I have a fiance now, so I am sexually active and just got off an antibiotic for bv a couple of weeks ago and I think that rephresh stuff gave me a friggin yeast infection so I discontinued it. It was either that or the antibiotic. But it's clearing up now. But I had this b4 two years ago when I was still a virgin. I heard this happens from shaving, but I can't burst anything. My tests for chlamydia, gonoreah and trich came back (-) My fiance is clean. Could it be a muscle strained or something or could it come from shaving? I remember this from 2 years ago

it might just be an ingrown hair. if it doesnt clear up within a week from now, i would say go see the doctor. and if it gets bigger, then see a doctor as soon as u notice this happening! good luck with everything thing

im 99% sure that it's a hair follicle infection...go to your gyno to check it out
i had the exact same thing turns out it was an ingrown hair but i was kinda worried about it for a while eventually it went away.
Sometimes you can get bumps (that sound like that) from shaving and they aren't like the type you can burst. I'd just not touch it for a couple days and if it hasn't gone away in a week, I'd look more into it.
When you take antibiotics it can give you a yeast infection.
But it can also be a large irriation to shaving down there.
Or it could be a pimple or something?
It may be a clot, ingrown hair folicle, it could be alot of things. Your best bet is to see a doctor because as the body developes, things grow differently. It is probably nothing but it still helps just to get it checked out.
I had the exact same problem about a year ago. I also told my Mom about it and she also told me it would go away, and it did. I went to a medical website and you might have a Bartholin cyst or an abscess. Go to webmd.com and use the Symptom Checker for more info. I really hope this helps.
