At your age, it is very common for girls to miss periods. After you start, your period will usually be irregular for several years. (Some women are regular from the start, but some of us never get totally regular.) If that was the only thing going on, it wouldn't be a big deal because it is normal. However, your weight loss is significant. Were you obese before? If so, losing the weight was probably good for you. Even if you lose weight in a healthy manner it can sometimes upset your period. But, if your weight loss was too much and you are now seriously underweight, you need immediate help. Being too skinny can stop your period, and you have to be significantly underweight before that happens.

wow i think you should maybe see a doctor or talk to your mom. i'm also 13 and thats never happened to me

I have been thru this, mine hasnt came for 4 months but i realized it was bc i was too active, too many sports, going, on, soccer, track, cross country, so your body is just learning to adjust to the changes until it can settle; do not worry it is coming back for sure!i have had mine for 2 years now, along with doing sports, and mine come like every 2 -4 months!

I think you need to go see a doctor. I haven't ever had this, but it probably has to do with your hormones.

dnt wry, wen i was 13 it used to happen to me alot, n even now my periods r irregular, dont wry, if ur not sexually active u have nothing to worry abt, maybe just stress which is y youve lost wieght too.

Well being only 13 yrs old, it is typical for your period to be irregular. Also, weight loss will make your period not come as well. Stress on the body, (the weight loss) will mess with your horomones... talk to your mom, but at your age is not abnormal for you to skip a few months of your period.

That happened to me alot when I was that age. I would either get them twice a month or not at all for a few months. Also need to consider you level of activity. If you are into sports and the like, that may affect your cycle as well. You are probably fine, but if you that worried, talk to your parents and go to a physician.

loosing 25-30 lbs sounds like a lot of weight. how much do you weigh now and what is you approximate height. it is common for woman with anorexia to not get their period and may become infertile due to organ damage. if you lost that much weight it can be a healthy thing if you are obese, if were not it can be a very unhealthy thing. it is important to eat balanced meals, and never skip meals, drink lots of water and exercise in moderation.

Not all of your estrogen comes from your ovaries.
The subdermal fat layer in women creates a lot of estrogen.
Evolutionarily this is likely because a woman with no body fat would be unlikely to be able to bring a child to term and for it to survive after being born.

i should go and see a DR.

I would talk to my mom. You are old enough to see a OB/GYN.
