Can I use monistat on my period??!
Question: I had to take lots of antibiotics for something and of course was going to get a yeast infection :( but the dr. prescribed fluconazale before hand. I took it but it didnt work, I dont have any symptoms except thick white discharge. I was goin go back but I cant get in for atleast a week. I was just going to by Monistat tomorrow but I started my period today! Now I dont know if I should use it? Would my period flow make it come out before its suppose to? I could wait but I dont wanna! I feel gross!

yes you can, it will be messier but possible.
Make sure you wash really well, then take it right before bed. Maybe even elevating your hips a bit
More then likely, it's not gonna do what it should do. I would wait until you are just spotting or finished with your period. The flow is gonna flush the meds out before they get a chance to do much more then likely. Hope that helps!
The thick white discharge could be something other than a yeast infection. I wouldn't use anything unless you get other symptoms. You could always call your doctor and ask or read the instructions inside the box.
