It does hurt the frist time because there is a tissue that tears. I highly suggest that you should wait. Its more meaningful when you finally experience it with someone you love and is going to be with you forever. For one, you can get pregnant, and there are STD's and just nasty junk you can get. Your a young girl and you should wait. I didnt wait and I regreted it. Now I'm married and wish I would have waited to share it with my husband. It means more...I dunno I sound like a lame parent.

It's more uncomfortable than 'hurt'. but if you love the person and they love you too, it wont really matter- ask them to take it slow and you'll be fine. After that first time it's a breeze.

this depends on several things 1 of course is if the man is an idiot and hurts you and 2 if he is large !!! then yes of course it will hurt but if the man is carefull and not to big then you should be ok just dont go full force first time or yes it will hurt

First time does hurt, although how much it hurts varies from girl to girl. No one's first time is EVER nice though so don't get any silly ideas about romantic first nights, that only happens in the movies lol. It could be ok but it will never be brilliant. And you miht be one of the girls who finds it extremely painful (I was quite lucky and it didn't hurt too much but some of my friends have SUCH horror stories about absolute agony, its probably best to prepare yourself for the worst!)
It won't hurt so much if you have already had other sexual experiences e.g. oral and if you are really excited and wet. Also if you make sure you are very relaxed and not nervous it will help.

Well - you are not a 15 year old girl with her hymen intact which is where a lot of the pain comes from.
The pain can come because of several things:
- Guy shoves himself inside before the girl is aroused/lubricated (Guys are clueless. Make him wait and arouse you, have lube ready).
- Girl is too young/small so it stretches things. (You are 19 so you should be fine)
- Girl has a latex allergy (so you have to buy the more expensive non-latex condoms).
My best advice is to get some latex condoms, a small vibrator and a bottle of sugar free lube and ..... slowly practice. This will make sure you are physically big enough to not have pain, and see if you have a latex allergy.
Then on that night when you are with a guy - make sure to have the lube ready and spend LOTS of time doing foreplay so you are excited/open/ready. (I think this is the real reason it stops hurting after the first few times - girls relax, spend more time and are ready.)
