What is this hard lump on my inner labia?!

Question: It's about the size of a small pea. It is a little tender to touch, and it's a little itchy. I thought it might be a bartholin cyst ( http://familydoctor.org/online/famdocen/... ), but those normally aren't painful. Any ideas??

I don't currently have any insurance, my new insurance starts in March, so I don't wanna go to the doctor yet if it's gonna go away soon. It's been there for about 2 weeks.

I am sexually active, but only with my husband of 5 years so it's not an STD.

It could be a bartholin cyst. Believe me, I have seen many women who are in extreme pain over one of those little boogers. When they are inflamed, they can be very painful. It may continue to get bigger, if you can pop it now while it is small (try soaking in warm water 1st), you may save yourself a visit, but if it gets much bigger, you will need to see a doc for antibiotics.

Is your husband sexually active with anyone other than yourself? And before you answer "NO!!" just be sure he isn't.

If this thing has been there for 2 weeks you should get it checked out. 2 more months is a long time to wait just for health insurance.

Probably a gland or pore infected!
