How much longer?!
Question: i have been taking this medicine called medroxyprogesterone
and it was supposed to give me my period..but i already took all 5 pills for the 5 days i was supposed to and its been 3 days since i took the last pill and i havent had it yet. im just wondering how long it takes for this medicine to work. so if you have taken this before or know anything about it please let me know. thank you so much

Generally you would get your period 3-4 days after stopping the progesterone. Since that doesn't appear to be the case, you should call your doctor on monday.
Medicine like that doesn't always work.
Perhaps you should give your doctor a ring and ask them what to do now, they may be able to sugget something else for you.
I have taken this medication but I had to take it for 14 days and once that was over with I had a period within 24 hours. It may be worth you visiting your doctor again and explaining the situation because a lot would depend on why you was not having a period in the first place, if it was hormonal then you may need a stronger dose of the tablet so please if you are worried then go back to your GP and Good Luck!
