Ah im scared this is a serious question about puberty?!


Question: well 2 days a ago when i woke up there was a lump (it felt like a bone but like no way could it be) under my nipple and was sore and it got bigger but just a tad and a little bit more sore.......... well should i be concerned ............. well here are the facts
1.im a preteen
2.i don't have breasts yet
do you think this is just my breasts growing and oh why is it growing only in one boob do they grow at different times or what .... well did this ever happened to you... and oh i asked my mom and she dosn't really remember what happened to her because she was only 9 years old... so please please help me

It sounds as if you might be developing breast buds. It is the beginning development of your future breasts. This happened to my daughter. Of course you really should check with your doctor to make very sure.

I dont think its serious or anything, just your boobs growing. But to be safer then sorry i would go get it checked out

your breast buds are starting, and yes, one does start before the other... so relax.

its most likely a bone of its under the brown part. most people in puberty [who are girls] their breasts hurt. its natural. dont worry.

ask your mommy if she can take you to a gynocologist and have a breast exam done. But it shoyldnt be too serious

Congratulations -your breast are starting to develop. They do not necessarily grow at the same time ( or equally) but the difference are not noticeable. In the end they are the same. It is different for every girl and while it starts the same way, they can grow slower, faster bigger or smaller. It also happens that one breast can hurt but the other does not. Sometimes there is also itchiness at the beginning but it goes away quickly. Hope this helps.

They are called breast buds, they are hard, and they do grow at different times.
