Anyone take levothyroxine?!
Question: I have been taking this medication for about 5 weeks now, for the last 3 or 4 days about half hour after I take it I feel very anxious and a bit odd. The feeling goes away after about an hour or so. Has anyone else experienced this? My doctor is not open Fridays, I am going to call Monday. I just wondered if it was normal when first beginning to take this med. Like I say the feeling only lasts about and hour or two after I take my pill. Thanks

It sounds like a feeling of a little too much medicine. Does it raise your heart rate? It might be that you need to lower your dose a tad, or that it's just taking your body a little time to adjust and the feeling will go away eventually.
