Question: Ok, I am almost 40 .. off the pill (for almost 4 yrs, husband has vasectomy) .... this is and example what is going on....
I had my normal period week before xmas.. then went on vacation for 5 days (over xmas, without husband).. Came home had sex (not rough,and he is not large..)... and then day later started my period again..... This is not the first time this has happened.. Could there be something or what?

Your body could just be going through some changes. See how it goes next month. If the same thing happens you should see your doctor.
Sounds like you are experiencing pre-menopause. See a doctor when you can.
Are you getting hot flashes? It might be menopause. Talk to your ob/gyn or family doctor.
