Has anyone had side effects like this?!
Question: Im taking celxa an antidepressant and i wanna stop taking them. Ive been on them for years now. Everytime I stop taking them I have the worse withdrawls. Dr said its normal but it just doesnt seem to be normal to me. Im wondering if anyone else had dealt with this and if so what helped you. Thank you!

You have to gradually stop taking them. Skip a day, take it, skip 2 days, etc., or - if you can cut them in 1/2, take 1/2 dose for a few days, then 1/4 dose for a few days, then stop. Withdrawal will be easier.
Of course! Antidepressants like any other medications have wtdrawal side effects. I have had many. don't worry ( :
Taking some drugs leaves behind after effects. Your body is not used to being without it and you just need to get used to the effect. Its going to be about a week and it is going to SUCK! Good luck.
You shouldn't have took the antidepressant in the first place..
you dr may need to ween you off them maybe put you on something lighter withdrawls happen often
