Irritation below?!

Question: I was treated for bacterial vaginosis taking antibiotics around thanksgiving, then a week later I still felt discharge, but went in for a wet mount and it was cleared up. I started using the nuvaring almost three weeks ago now, and I'm feeling more white thick discharge and some irritation. What could this be? I'm sick of going back to the doctor with discharge complaints..

Discharge is normal. As long as it is clear or white. yellow discharge and itching means an infection.
Try going without the ring. See if your irritation clears up. But you'll have to do it for a few weeks, so that the medication gets out of your body that is realsed from the ring. If it doesn't clear up, then I would go back to the doctor.

you just gave me a stiffy

yeast infection, maybe? Or simply the soap you are using to clean the area....

YOU WORK ON Th STREET CORNER IS ALL I HEARD STD NIG

ehh its normal depending on your age
i wouldn't worry about it

Listen sugar babe---get some health insurance and find your a** a shrink.... get some counseling.....as far as the discharge goes take two aspirin and call the Doctor in the morning.....

Sorry, but the best thing to do unfortunately, is to go back to the doctor. You may have recontracted it from the same source again, or it may have been 99% cured, but that 1% left has multiplied and now needs stronger antibiotics.

I don't blame you! I had cronic yeast infections when I was young. You might try a yeast infection medication. They can now be found on the same isle that tampons and stuff are on. It used to be I had to go to the doc every other month to clear one up. It was a nuisance. He told me to stop eating suger, breads and dairy and take extra vitamins. Also to use a vinegar and water douche. That did it! I eat diary and bread now and some suger, but it broke the cycle. I've had one mild infection since and the douche took care of it.

I would suggest you trim the hair every 1-2 weeks and leave around 1/8 inch or so. It will help reduce the amount of bacteria that might be manifesting in there. At the same time, start using feminine wash and see if it helps.

take antibodies for some time.
