You could have almost anything, and you should have seen a doctor already! Unless you want to end up sterile, you need to take care of the plumbing. Even if you do want to end up sterile, actually... Lack of a period can be a symptom of DOZENS of serious problems, some not even related to reproduction. GET TO A DOCTOR

could be stress...abnormal eating habits...are they usually normal??

if you have only had your period for less than two years it is normal to be irregular. You are more likely to have periods less if you are underweight or exercising a lot. But some woman never have regular periods and some woman start straight away with regular! It just depends on genes. If you are worried you can take the pill but you don't say how old you are..

If you have just recently had yours that could be why. For some reason some girls have one, then their body isn't really ready so they don't have another for several months even years. I have a cousin who had her period one month and not again for about 10 months. I have an aunt who had hers once and then not again for 2 years. My niece has had hers for about 5 months now. The first time it was about 2 months before she had another and now its still very irregular. It takes some time for your body to get use to this change.

you have something called endometrial hyperplasia
....im not really sure why it happens...
GO TO THE DOCTOR!! NOW
