Im starting birth control pills tomorrow for the first time, what can i expect??!
Question: So im very nervous to start taking the pills cause its suggested to NOT smoke on the medication. I am 25 right now. I am going to be starting to take yaz. I rarely ever take medicine cause im always scared of the side effects and so on but I need to take birth control pills. I hate worrying every month if im pregnant and I get HORRIBLE cramps. Has anyone taken yaz before? is it a good pill tostart on?

im 18 i smoke and im on the pill and i fine dont worry you will be to but if u do have any worries just speak to your doctor dont feel embarrased they see things like that all the time :)
It didn't stop me that I am a smoker. However I did stop taking hormones when I got to a certain age and the risk outweighed the benefits. Get full info regarding what the side effects are, I can't remember anymore. Decide if the risk is worth the possible side-effects.
