Can eating a lot of garlic make vaginal discharge smell kinda garlic-y?!

Question: I know that normal discharge is not supposed to have a smell, and that an odor is a sign of an infection. but i thought an infection smells fishy, not like garlic. ive had a couple infections in the past where i had a fishy odor, but a few times i noticed a garlic-like smell; however, this only lasts about a day or so (then it clears up), and typically the day after i eat garlic. i figured since garlic makes your sweat smell, maybe it can make vaginal secretions smell also? any thoughts? thanks.

your vagina sweats just like your body does. If the smell is accompanied with burning, itching, weird colored vaginal discharge (could be weird consistency too), or fever, then its not the garlic. What you ar describing totally sounds diet related though. Its not just garlic. Onions can do it as well as alot of fatty greasy foods. Pineapple and certain fruits can make ut smell differently as well, but better. I find when I drink alo of water there is no smell. The body is funny.

Yes, most definitely. Garlic can make your body fluid have the odor of garlic, including your vaginal discharge.

Try eating asparagus and peeing a couple of hours later. The odor is extremely potent.

Yes, some foods (like garlic) secrete their oils through our skin!
