Someone please help me i'm freaking out?!
Question: ive been on birth control for almost a month now, im on the mini pill which i know is a little less effective than the regular pill. i take my pills on time every night at the same time, but this evening i was two hours late taking my pill. i took my pill two hours later than my scheduled time and i know that if you take it three hours later than youre supposed to, it is uneffective. me and my boyfriend had sex right after i took my pill, is there a chance i could get pregnant? why does the mini pill stop working after three hours?

I don't know but you better go get a ECP (Emergency Contraception Pill) pill from Planned Parenthood if you don't wanna get pregnant just to be safe.
Even on the the pill and with condoms, you always have a chance of getting pregnant. My advice is to take PLAN B or the MORNING AFTER PILL as soon as possible.

im not on the pill but i do know that no matter what you do if you are having sex especially unprotected sex your at risk of getting pregnant so take a pregnancy test but not to early or it will give you a false negative and if it do if you have any signs even if you come on your period you can still be pregnant just go to the clinic three weeks with in you thinking you got pregnant
i would say go see your doctor and get a shotthat would stop the formation of the baby and or check and see if you can get that shot that is ehat i suggest to my girl
Mini pills are different from regular pills because of the type of hormone that is in it. Regular birth control pills have both estrogen and progestin. Mini pills only have progestin.
They work by thickening the cervical lining, which blocks sperm from entering to fertilize the egg. They can also prevent ovulation and cause changes in the lining of the uterus preventing implantation.
Mini pills are less effective because they are in lower doses and do not contain estrogen (which also prevents pregnancy).
Take Emergency Contraceptives and/or get a pregnancy test. There is a good possibility of pregnancy unfortunately.
3 hours wont make a difference. but birth control is not a substitute for a condom. it is just another back up. unprotected sex is still unsafe pill or not. and daily pills or the morning after pill still doesnt stop STDs. you can never trust someone that much to have unprotected sex.. use a condom
well...I use this really great birth control...it's called abstinence! sorry...that was really mean...
