Breast size? bra fitting? help! (Women please)?!

Question: What is the correct way to measure your cup size? I know you have to measure your rib cage and over the nipple with a tape measure but everytime that I do it, it either says that I wear a 34AAA or a 36 D. I am doing it wrong because when I go to buy bras (I have to go trial and error which sucks) I wear a size 34C. I'm 14 and should know how to do this, but I can't.

PS My mother tried to help but she gets the same answers I do.

Here's how you measure for a bra size:

1. Measure around your chest, just below your breasts.

2. Add 5 inches if it is an odd number; add 4 inches if it is an even number. This is your bra measurement.

3. To find out what cup you need, measure around the fullest part of your breasts. If the two numbers are the same, you need an AA-cup. If the two numbers differ by 1 inch, you need an A-cup. If the two numbers differ by 2 inches, you need a B-cup. If the two numbers differ by 3 inches, you need a C-cup. If the two numbers differ by 4 inches, you need a D-cup.

Go to a bra department and try on the different styles to see what is comfortable for you.

go to victoria secrets or a bra store and they will messure you you dont have to buy from that store but you can act like it

First off the bat just because you are 14 it doesn't mean that you should know how to do this. I didn't even really have breasts at you age. I would just go to a lingerie store and have them measure you. There is no reason to be embarrassed about this either because tons of women go in their for this service all the time.

I asked the same question like a week ago and I found out that the online measuring tools aren't always right. It said I was 32AAA but I wear 32C. Its because I am smaller than 32 (like 27) and so it just scaled me down because the company didn't have bra sizes smaller than 32. This might be the same for you.

OK Ignore the bra calculators.

Measure around your chest under your breasts. Round up and add four if its even and five if it is an odd number. That is your band size. For ex. 30 measurement would be a 34 band size.

Then measure around breasts at the widest part. Round up. Subtract the band size from this one.

Less than 1" is a AA or AAA cup.
1" difference is an A
2": B
3": C

etc

Or just go to Nordstroms JCPenney or Sears, NOT victoria secret as they are horrid with sizing correctly (personal experience and a LOT of other negative feedback on their 'expertise').

I was going to suggest going to Victoria's Secret, but go online. Just click on a bra and they will have a thing you can click on to measure you bra size, it gave me the correct size, so i would totally recommend it. Here it is: http://www2.victoriassecret.com/braguide...
There are little equations, if you plug in your measurments it should come out correct!
